The Kean University Project involves the construction of two new Residence Halls on the campus in Union, New Jersey. It includes the construction of a seven-story 414 bed Upper-class Hall that includes a 300-seat cafeteria and an adjacent eight-story, 434 bed Freshman Hall. The complex totals approximately 250,000 square feet of space, the vast majority of which is precast concrete load-bearing and nonload-bearing exterior and interior walls and hollow core precast concrete plank, although the project includes pedestrian plazas, underground storm water management facilities, utility work, vehicular and pedestrian pavements, and landscaping.
