The Center for Environmental and Life Sciences (CELS) is a four-story, 107,500SF Spanish-Mission style state-of-the-art science facility devoted to environmental and pharmaceutical life sciences research with multiple labs, interdisciplinary research suites, seminar rooms, modern classrooms and student study/lounge areas. One of the buildings most scenic features is the “green” roof above the second floor that is used as a study site and retreat.

The CELS building attained LEED Gold sustainable design certification.
