Primary facility includes two-person rooms; battalion support area; latrines and showers; laundry, trash/recycling, storage, day and study rooms; building information systems; and offices for Tactical Officers, Tactical Noncommissioned Officers and duty orderlies. The facility will house self-contained mechanical infrastructures. BID DATE: 05/07/2013 CLIENT: NJSDA PROJECT: New Elementary School #3 -- Jersey City SIZE: $35,000,000 DESCRIPTION: Design and construction of a new three-story elementary school of approximately 123,000 sf for education of approximately 778 students in grades Pre-K to 5. Building consists of 25 general classrooms, 5 kindergarten classrooms, 10 pre-k classrooms, specialized instructional classrooms and labs, media center, multi-purpose/assembly room, cafeteria and gymnasium, as well as administrative and support facilties. Site work includes earthwork, physical education and play areas, parking and fencing. BID DATE: 06/06/2013 CLIENT: NJSDA PROJECT: New PS #20 Elementary School SIZE: $28,000,000 DESCRIPTION: Construction consists of a new 108,867 sf three-story elementary school educating approximately 628 students in grades K-5. Building includes general specialized education rooms, small group instruction rooms, art and music rooms, technology lab, gymnasium, cafeteria, assembly/multi-purpose room, media center and support spaces. BID DATE: 06/20/2013 CLIENT: Montclair State University PROJECT: New School of Business and Center for Environmental and Life Sciences Buildings SIZE: $120,000,000 DESCRIPTION: New School of Business consists of construction of a new 6-story, 143,000 sf building to house instructional spaces, administrative offices, conference and seminar rooms, departmental suites, group studies rooms, large common lobby and lounge spaces and an open/surface parking lot including site/civil and landscaping work. Center for Environmental and Life Sciences Building consists of construction of a five-story, steel-framed building including site work, landscaping, masonry, waterproofing, roofing, interior work, glass and glazing, flooring, painting, fire protection, mechanical and electrical systems. |
